This controls how much space there is between each individual character in our text. So if you look at the Spacing row on the right-hand side, you'll see the first box is the Character setting. When you're working with text in Gravit, you also have the ability to control spacing. Create a path or shape to which the text will be applied. Text can be applied to a path or preset shape so that it can be curved and bent.
You will see a red line when you hover the shape, then you just click there with the text tool. To curve the text, draw any curved shape then go with the text tool on this shape. Please let me know if you have more questions.
